Adelaide has an extensive public transport system of buses, trains and trams, operated by Adelaide Metro. The tram is free to travel on within the city centre, with the closest tram stop conveniently located a two-minute walk from the Centre, in front of the historic Adelaide Railway Station. If you’re planning to spend your stay in the city, you’ll best experience Adelaide walking or booking short car rides. Taxis can be booked for pick-up or drop-off at Adelaide Convention Centre, with a taxi rank located right in front of the Centre’s main entrance off North Terrace.
