Elijah Akhimien holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Physiology from Delta State University, Nigeria. After working as a Human Physiologist for two years, he moved to Australia where he completed an occupational therapy(OT) master’s degree program. The focus of his postgraduate research was the use of smartphone technology by community-dwelling older people to identify falls risks. His work aimed to limit costs associated with OT home visits by evaluating photos/videos taken by community-dwelling older people to identify falls risk. His career goal is to work in community rehabilitation assisting older people to remain in the community and live meaningful lives.

Chloe graduated from the University of Newcastle in December 2021 and completed her final year of studies with the University of Newcastle Department of Rural Health in Coffs Harbour. Chloe completed honours research in her final year of studies, with a focus on the impact of home modifications for older adults' in the rural setting. Dave Anderson is the proud father of 2 autistic girls in the mainstream education system in Victoria and is a passionate advocate for raising awareness and providing practical support to children with autism and their families. Both Dave and his wife Michelle, work with 'Access Your Supports' - a disability support service for NDIS participants. Dave's role is a Support Co ordinator and Michelle manages Group Programs. Together with their daughter, who has ASD, they volunteer with The Treehouse, running programs facilitating social activities for children with autism.
Dave has spoken often at Primary Schools and fundraising events throughout the Geelong region.

She has worked in early intervention, inter-disciplinary school-based programs and is currently the Allied Health Manager for occupational therapy and physiotherapy in the ACT Education directorate. Jacqui previously taught allied health assistants at the Canberra Institute of Technology and set up and coordinated a Paediatric Occupational Therapy student-led clinic at the University of Canberra, providing centre and school-based services
Jill Jeremy
Jill Jeremy is a PhD candidate in the School of Education and Social Work at the University of Sydney. Jill’s doctoral research is in teacher/occupational therapist collaborations in mainstream primary schools in Australia. Beginning her career as a registered nurse, Jill quickly moved into medical research and worked in a variety of roles until she re-trained as a primary teacher in 2014. Jill has a Master of Teaching degree and is passionate about inclusive education and the benefits of interprofessional collaboration in the classroom.
Carl Leonard
Dr Leonard is an education scholar and practitioner with 29 years’ experience in schools, mostly in leadership and/or consultancy positions. holding key roles related to care of students with challenging behaviours and learning needs, and policy implementation. Dr Leonard’s scholarly work has focused on student quality of school life, affective outcomes of schooling and teacher development. In addition to working full-time in schools (till mid 2019), Dr Leonard has achieved significant scholarly output and presented at national and international conferences, is program convenor of the Master of Special and Inclusive Education - UoN, and manages a multi-million-dollar scholarship program with the Victorian DET.

Kitty is Co-Course Coordinator and Senior Lecturer in Occupational Therapy at Southern Cross University on the Gold Coast. Biography
Jill Fitzgerald is an occupational therapist with extensive experience working with children and adults with acquired brain injury and neurological insult. Jill has worked at the Royal Children's Hospital in the Neurosciences OT role since 2017. In 2020 she commenced a body of work on best practice for screening, assessment and management of children at risk of, or in post traumatic amnesia following traumatic brain injury. Her work has included developing and implementing a local clinical guideline to improve clinical care, and outcomes for these children.

Dr Pamela Ross has worked as an occupational therapist in the area of rehabilitation for over 35 years. She has specialised in return to work and driver assessment and rehabilitation, with specific expertise in traumatic brain injury and mutli-trauma. She is currently employed as a Grade 4 senior clinician at Epworth Healthcare and is also employed at Monash Epworth Rehabilitation Research centre where she is the chief investigator on a TAC funded research project investigating 'Early vocational intervention for people who have experienced traumatic injuries'.

Biography
Sue Sloan is a registered Occupational Therapist and Clinical Neuropsychologist. In 1995, after many years working in hospital settings, Sue established Osborn Sloan and Associates a private practice providing community-based therapy services to people with Acquired Brain Injury. Sue’s main interests lie in developing therapeutic programs to build participation in people with severe cognitive and behavioural issues. Sue also lectures in undergraduate programs and provides training in managing behaviours of concern. Sue has published in peer reviewed journals and co-authored four books, the most recent published by ASSBI in 2017 provides a practical guide to managing challenging behaviours.

Tarsha is a 24 year old woman who was diagnosed with Wilson's Disease in Jan 2019. This is a rare genetic condition that had devastating neurological impact on Tarsha. She went from being a fit, health OT student who volunteered, travelled the world and competed in long distance running to being unable to speak, walk, feed herself, wash herself or go to the toilet. After a long (on-going) recovery, Tarsha has just returned to full time work as an OTA and she has lots to share about her journey about the importance of empowering the client in the rehab journey.

Atefeh Taghizadeh is a PhD candidate in Occupational Therapy at La Trobe University. The topic of her thesis is “Application of Motor Learning Strategies within Models of Upper Limb Therapy for Children with Cerebral Palsy”. Her PhD is focused on the development of the Upper Limb-Motor Learning Strategy Tool that can be applied in upper limb therapy sessions for children with cerebral palsy. Biography
Giovanna is an Occupational Therapist with extensive experience in rehabilitation and acute care in hospital settings in Brisbane. Giovanna has an interest in technology-enabled care and exploring new technologies to improve therapy tools in practice and for the hospital setting. Giovanna is part of a working research collaborative between the Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital, Surgical Treatment and Rehabilitation Service, The University of Queensland and the Herston Biofabrication Institute exploring use of virtual reality in upper limb therapy practice. Biography
Narinder is a British-trained occupational therapist. She qualified as an Occupational Therapist in the UK in 1994 and has 17 years of clinical experience and over 11 years of educational experience in both NZ and the UK. Narinder is a Principal Lecturer within the School of Occupational Therapy leading the fieldwork component within the programme. Narinder is currently engaged in her Doctorate of Professional Practice.
